At Serenity Ceremonies, our role in your ceremony is to ensure that everything that is important to you and your loved ones is reflected. We work with you to create your ideal funeral or memorial, making it meaningful and truly a tribute to the individuality and uniqueness of your loved one.

Your ceremony can be as traditional or unconventional as you want to make it. Religious or spiritual elements can be included to make it unique to you and your family. Personal items such as photographs, hats or trophies can be incorporated, this does help to give a real feel of the loved one in the room.

“Mandy was recommended to us. Past experience of funerals had left me concerned about finding the right person to lead the service. She met us at our home and after a few minutes of chatting, we both knew (mum and I) that we had found the right person. She prompted with questions and we chatted about Dad’s life. I had wanted to say a few words but also terrified at the thought – she set my mind at rest knowing that on the day, if I couldn’t do it, she would read my words for me.

She sent a draft which was almost perfect, we both cried reading it! A few tweaks and it was finished and absolutely perfect.

On the day, Mandy gave the best service in any funeral I’d ever been too. She came across as if she had known Dad for years! There were tears and some laughter!
